-
K9 World was set up in Wales in 1992 and opened in May 1993.
- The object is twofold: to show an illustrated, potted history of every breed of dog world-wide,
and there are over 400 of them, and to show the many ways in which dogs serve man.
- On display
- are six life-size exhibits, and eight miniature scenes. There are also stories of individual dogs,
dogs belonging to famous people and royalty, and a mine of information on the history of the dog, and rare and extinct breeds.
The information in the Museum and its collection are constantly being updated as new facts come to light.
